Lohia Mechatronik Die Bolt (LM DB) is a device for controlling thickness profile of extruded sheets or films.
Using precision manufacturing and assembly, combining the know-how of special steels, ceramics and copper alloys allows high degree of control over film and sheet thickness.
LM DB are Die conversion kits for Extrusion Die OEM’s and End Users with existing manual Dies.
Options of Thermal Bolts
Push Only:
- Automatic die lip adjustment through push mechanism of thermal bolts.
- System of choice for film and sheet extrusion dies.
Push-Pull:
- Automatic die lip adjustment through push and pull mechanism of thermal bolts.
- Applications that demand faster response and even greater precision to die adjustments. e.g. Coating and Lamination extrusion dies.
Product Features
- Helps reduce thickness variation across the width of the film resulting in the use of less raw material to meet product specifications. The system, in conjunction with LM Gauges, adjusts the die lip to optimize cross machine gauge uniformity and minimize production cost and maximize product quality.
- Helps get on specification faster and achieve tighter tolerance of thicknesses.
